My photo sessions follow a very loose script...sometimes.  Other times, there is no script at all, just a general idea and discussion of what images to capture.  The sessions are at their best when the model lets go of inhibitions and just does whatever seems right at the time.  My job is to point the camera in the right direction and be prepared for anything...

First Time Model

This was the first time that this guy had ever posed for pictures, but he was a real natural at it.  The time at the gym had really paid off for him, and he wanted to show off his great body.  This was a shot towards the beginning of the session, it didn't take long for him to get rid of most of his clothes and put on a show.

Clean Look

Shower pictures are always a great way to take a session in a new direction.  This model was really into underwear and just loved the feel of his tight wet white jock hugging his package.  This was our first time working together, but he had a great time and looked great in the pictures.  I hope to work with him again someday.

This was the first time that my model had ever posed for pictures at all, much less nude. As a result, there were a couple of moments like these. If I can, I try to capture the session as it unfolds, you never know what images might turn out great. Although the lighting is somewhat harsh and direct (I didn't have a diffuser handy), I still like this image and hope to improve on it in the future.

Black and white images are some of my favorites, but I still feel like I'm really still learning all of the tricks of light balance and so forth with Black and White. Hopefully the coming year will bring many chances to practice.
